Remote Sound is a Bamako-based production company. We provide studio facilities, live event production, and media services to clients across Mali and the globe.

Live Production

Studios

Three full studios in Bamako, built for serious work. The main tracking room is sized for orchestras and choral ensembles. Three isolation rooms allow multi-source recording. Dedicated video and podcast studios complete the facility.

Power-independent operation through grid outages. Available self-operated, engineered, or with full production support.

04. The Founder

Paul R. Chandler

Paul R. Chandler has spent more than twenty years producing music and documentary work in Mali. An award-winning producer, his collaborations span Google Arts and Culture, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, UNESCO, UNICEF, the BBC, and National Geographic.

His work in Mali and the wider region includes partnerships with the Aga Khan Development Network, CyArk, and music industry projects with BMG / World Circuit Records, Transgressive, Africa Express, and Bono's ONE campaign.

Through Remote Sound, that experience continues — supporting commercial production, studio work, and media projects for clients local and international.
